Keyword Density Checker
Paste text or enter a URL to see 1, 2 & 3-word phrase frequency and density — with keyword-stuffing warnings and on-page presence flags.
How to use keyword density (without stuffing)
Keyword density tells you which terms a page emphasizes. It is only a small modern ranking factor — but the inverse still matters: cram a keyword in too often and you risk a keyword-stuffing penalty. Google names keyword stuffing in its spam policies, and the 2024 Content Warehouse API leak revealed a keywordStuffingScore (0 = none, 127 = maximum), confirming it is something Google measures.
Use this checker to (1) confirm your focus keyword and natural variations actually appear in your copy, (2) catch any word that is over-used, and (3) verify your primary term shows up in the title, H1, and meta description — where it carries the most weight. Aim for natural, reader-first writing; let the density fall where it may.
